About Eric Miller
Eric Miller brings over 29 years of Law Enforcement experience and a lifetime commitment to serving the people of Sandoval County.
Throughout his career, Eric has served with the University of New Mexico Police Department, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Albuquerque Public Schools Police and the Town of Edgewood Police Department, concluding his service as a Detective with the Sandoval County Sheriff's Office.
Eric has held the rank of Sergeant, worked as a Detective, and served as a K9 Handler. Eric has completed extensive training, including the Federal Law Enfrocement Training Center (FLETC) and advanced investigative programs.
Eric is a Proud United States Navy Veteran, having served four years on active duty. And, Eric is the Only Candidate in this race with Military Experience.
Eric’s family arrived in Santa Fe in 1615. Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Eric is a Proud Norteño with deep roots in the community. Eric currently resides in Corrales, New Mexico.
Law Enforcement runs in Eric’s family- Eric’s father served as a Major with the New Mexico State Police and Retired as a Deputy Secretary with New Mexico Department of Public Safety .
Eric is running for Sheriff to restore trust, strengthen public safety, support deputies, and serve Sandoval County with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
